Alright, the new system got me messed up, I’m currently in year 9 and I have the test that will determine my options in a week or so.
In my school, we’ve been doing GCSE work because of the new system and I’m so confused 24/7 and I have no idea what’s going on. I’m mostly struggling in chemistry.
I really like science but chemistry is my worst subject within the whole science categories. I’m much more better in biology or physics; chemistry is just not my forte.
As I said, options exams are soon. To be completely honest, I have no idea what I want to do in life and honestly I’d just like to do well in the core 3 subjects.
Since I’m so horrific at chemistry, I’m sure it wouldn’t really matter if I fail chemistry on my options exams, right? I mean, I’d still be able to do biology and physics??
I’m so confused, honestly, I hate this new system. Everything is way more harder.
What should I do about chemistry??

The new system:
A*-A -> 9-7
B-C -> 6-4
D-G -> 3-1
Less but harder coursework/practical stuff
It depends if your school would make you do double/single science if you fail.
We don't go to your school, so this is about it when it comes "what's going on"
