My friend has dyspraxcia but the problem is he thinks he is worse then he is. I think he has alot of potential but right now he is not working. He now wants to quit work because if he does he thinks it will be better off not working as he will keep getting the money

He could have a horrendous self esteem as a result but he could have little motivation to work if he feels there's not much to get gained from it. As a friend all you can do is polite express your opinion and then leave it at that.

The problem is if i suggest anything he would go off on one and think im against him, Me, My neighbour who knows him, My mum and a few other people think he is so capable of doing things.

I feel like I am going to have to show him that he can achieve the things he wants. We are quite alike but im more positive. If he sees what Im doing it might make him feel better as well
