I have no formal qualifications, I am awaiting to do some volunteer work tho,

How do I get gcses without any formal qualifications behind me?

I am 19, tried to get onto adult maths and english but I wasn't 19 at the start of the academic year. Any help!

If you choose an exam board eg AQA OCR Edexcel, you can search for their ‘private candidates’ section, browse and select qualifications you want to complete, choose a centre to do it at - many are community centres - and pay for it.
Finding classes for them though is different you will either need to find adult classes in your area or get private tutoring. TesConnect also has great resources for self teaching. Would recommend purchasing whatever textbook is endorsed for that qualification.
Can’t really recommend which exam boards to choose because they all focus on different topics and have different methods of examination eg some have coursework. It’s important to just do your research and find one that suits your schedule and interests.
Wouldn’t recommend WJEC though, would stick to AQA OCR Edexcel (just my opinion though)
