I am a mature student looking to apply to UEA 2018 entry, currently doing an access course. I have been advised by a tutor that unis do not like access students. Does anyone have any knowledge on the matter?

Is the tutor some sort of expert and has contact with UEA?

    Contact them directly for reassurance.

A levels are accepted everywhere, but UEA do accept access. Ask them if you are at a disadvantage and if they say no, then forward that to the tutor to shut them up. As iis only one year then you need to make sure there are no mistakes.
