    Hi,

I'm currently a 2nd year student, and due to personal circumstances and unhappiness with the course that I am doing, I am looking in to transferring to a different university.

I'm wondering how this will affect my finance, and what I can do//how I go about everything relating to my finance?

If you could respond asap that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jess.

    Hi Jessielouisee22,

What course are you currently on and what are you transferring to? Will you be starting at year 1 again?

    Warm regards,

    Shaun.

I'm currently studying Childhood Studies, I'm hoping to transfer to Childhood Studies at Sheffield Hallam, i'm just waiting for them to confirm that my first year modules match with their first year modules.

If they match then I will be transferring to Year 2.

    Hi Jessielouisee22,

Will this be 18/19 you'll be going back or still within the current academic year of 17/18.

The funding would be the length of your course + 1 additional year, minus your previous study.

So if the new course is 3 years long, it will be 4 - 2 = 2 years of support remaining. We would fund year 2 and 3 in full.

    Warm regards,

    Shaun.
