    hi,

i'm a first year at uni of brighton and have paid in full the £7k for my year's flat on campus. however am not enjoying uni at all and want to transfer to uni of sussex - which is a 10ish minute walk from my flat, so it'd be great if i can stay in mine (plus i have no money to buy another flat elsewhere)... is this possible? or would you only be allowed to stay in the flat if you're attending the uni, even though you paid the full rent? does anyone have experience with this

I very much doubt it. Uni accommodation is by the uni for the students of that uni. They aren't going to give out places to non-students.
Ask them just to be sure though.
