    hiya- how do i solve the equation
    ln(5-x)=0

    ill attach my workings, not 100% sure they’re right so would appreciate some clarification!

    One check you can make yourself, is to substitute your answer back into the original equation, and see if it's consistent. If it boils down to 1=0 or some other gibberish, you know you've made a mistake.

    This won't tell you if you have missing solutions, but will validate the ones you have.
