I'm thinking of studying it at Kent because of how much I really like the modules, however would it put me at a disadvantage compared to if I'd taken a history or a Hispanic studies and history degree?

I cant see why it would make a difference. What do you intend to do after with it?

Where you study and your grade will count.

I'd like to go into teaching or working in a museum, I'm not 100% sure on career choices though.

Its just a variation on a history degree and I dont think theres any limitations in applying for teaching. I think grade and in some cases uni will matter more. For teaching then much less effect.
