Hey was just wondering what kind of grades/ test score percentages achieved at the beginning of year 12 would indicate A* grades at A levels e.g. 80% + in end of topic tests

Ultimately depends on subjects/exam boards. For sciences I'd say 85%+, (further) maths 90%+.
    Not sure about other subjects.

For essay subjects I'll say about 80% but you have to do well consistently if you want to be predicted A*s (I'm no expert btw)

I’ve heard of loads of people getting E’s and U’s at AS and A’s at A-Level. Of course you’re at an advantage if your doing well at the start but I wouldn’t worry too much. Anything above a D is a great start.

Wow 90% at the beginning for maths? Seems quite high
