    I'm predicted AAC
    My current choices are:
1 - Nottingham (Hispanic Studies and History) AAB
    2 - Kent (History) ABB
    3 - UEA (History) AAB
4 - Birmingham (History) AAA-AAB (If I applied through A2B this would be reduced)
5 - EITHER Kent (Military History) ABB OR Warwick (Hispanic Studies and History) AAB

I'm fairly confident about applying to Nottingham, Kent (History) and UEA, my only issues are with Birmingham, Kent (Military history) and Warwick.
I'm not guaranteed to be accepted to the A2B scheme, so I may be left with a choice which will probably reject me. I'm worried whether a military history degree will me worth less than a history degree, however at ABB entry requirements it's a fairly safe choice. Is it very likely that I'll get accepted for Warwick's course with my predicted grades? I don't know which universities I should put for 4 and 5, help is appreciated.

Why are you only applying for Spanish at one (maybe two) universities? Bit strange. Do you want to study Spanish?

Military History, Economic History, Modern History, Medieval History, Ancient History... it doesn't matter, it's all just history and no employer is going to care. However, I think you'd be wasting a UCAS choice by applying for two (related) degrees at Kent. Just choose one (History or Military History), if you end up going to Kent but you're unhappy with your choice, it's very likely that they'd let you switch.

If you meet the criteria for A2B and you like Birmingham's degree, then it is certainly worth applying there. You don't have any realistic insurance places. If I were you. I would apply for at least one university that requires BBB/BBC - better safe than sorry.

I'm only applying to Spanish and History at a few universities because the grade boundaries are lower and I prefer history, however some Hispanic studies modules have better modules than the single honours history degree modules, so I chose to take history and Spanish. Okay, I'll decide whether I like History or Military history more. Isn't Kent a good insurance university?
My plan is that if things go badly then I'd resit as I'd rather spend £30k going to the university that I really wanted to go to (or one of them at least) than my fall back choice. That might be quite a naive choice, I don't know.
If things go better than expected, then I think that I'll reapply next year. I messed up maths last year, hence the predicted C grade, I favoured history over maths so I revised history much more than maths. So I think that I could do better than predicted this year if all goes well.
