I have received an offer to study Physics at Exeter, and my offer is a little confusing. Could somebody clarify the combinations of grades which I can achieve to gain a place?

"This offer is subject to you obtaining grades A*AA at A-Level in 3 subjects. Must include either; grade A at A-Level in Mathematics and grade B at A-Level in Physics (if not included in your A*AA), OR; grade A at A-Level in Physics and grade B at A-Level in Mathematics (if not included in your A*AA)"

My confusion is the A*AA offer, with them saying below that I can achieve a B in either Maths/Physics.

    Please help!

I would email them for clarification if I was you. What they have written there would only make sense if you were doing 4 A levels.

They mean that you can get a B in one of those if it is your 4th A level. If you are only doing 3 this doesn't apply.
