For medicine or dentistry everyone will be taking the same combinations of a levels. Either math, further maths, physics, Chem or bio

Psychology is considered a science by a lot of universities, looking at the manchester uni site it looks like they do, so it wouldn't be a disadvantage or though I think if your applying for a science degree they prefer subjects like chemistry!

It shouldn't do as long as you get good grades!

If I'm being honest then yes because medicine and density is extremely competitive. For other courses then no....for example (science related) then maybe bio chemistry or research stuff. I do humanities anyway....if you can drop psychology and do maths if you really have your heart set on being a doctor. Sorry to deflate your bubble.....xx

I thought psychology was good for medicine. It has a lot to do with the memory and how people behave. And it includes conditions like Autism, which is very interesting and useful. It has a bit of science and a bit of maths in it. Much better than sociology tbh.
