I'm looking to apply for year long software engineering placements. I've got my CV and portfolio ready to go, but what I'm not ready for yet is the interview(s).
I've never had a job interview, let alone a software engineering one. All the reading I've done on them has been for actual jobs, like coding tests and other things, so I don't know if there's much difference between that an a placement interview.
What are some questions they would ask?
What should I study and read up on?
How long do the interviews take?
A lot of resources I've read up on have talked about knowing Big-O notation. What sort of questions will they ask about that if they do?
Anything else I need to know?
