Disadvantages of taking GCSE double science? Watch

    I am currently in year 11 and I am taking GCSE double science, I wanted to know what disadvantages I have compared to not taking triple and how it affects my uni application and overall GCSE grade

    You will be under no disadvantage, because universities will not reject a student based on what school they go to.

    It does however mean you have one less GCSE, which really doesn't make a difference to your application.You have people applying with 14 GCSEs and people applying with only 8.

    Plus, triple science isn't much harder and you can easily catch up if you take science A levels.
