I'm thinking about applying this year but the issue is: my partner and I are based in London. Does anyone know about the scoring required on the self assessment to be selected for interview to the London deanery or any surrounding deaneries?

Would really appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks and good luck to everyone else applying.

I don't know recent scores but while it's competitive it's certainly not impossible. At ST3 they were struggling to fill posts. Certainly worth applying if you have a reasonable CV, worst that happens is you don't get in and then have an extra year to buff up the application. I didn't get in first time round (bombed the interview) but got a Trust SHO job in ICU in order to stay in London, then got in second time around.
