She sounds idiotic. If somebody let's something as trivial as height influence who they date then I personally think they would make a lousy girlfriend/boyfriend anyway.

As if being 6ft tall would make you a better boyfriend lol She needs a reality check.

You are STILL taller than her so what's her problem? I'd ignore this girl and find somebody better who doesn't care about something as silly as a persons height.

That doesn't make much sense. His height clearly affects whether she will fancy him or not.
True. But what I mean is, a girl won't reject a guy she fancies just because he's short. If a young Tom Cruise comes a flirting, them panties be dropping.

    Not true.
So someone thinks "gosh, I really fancy him and like him and want to go out with him but he just too short so I can't"?

    Nonsense.

Yes I've heard girls say that on more than one occasion (not about me :p:).

Tbh I don't understand why people call this "shallow". I don't see the problem with it...

Physical attraction clearly matters in sexual relationships. Why would a girl go out with someone she isn't physically attracted to? And everyone knows that height is a hugely important factor in how physically attractive a boy is.
    How tall r u?

Prediction: at the very least 6'.

i asked out my crush, who was smaller than me in terms of height. She is like 5'1 and i'm 5'5, and in response to me asking her out, she said she prefers someone over 6'0. bit down but meh.
    That’s, odd.

As a girl who’s 5’11”, I wouldn’t feel comfortable in a relationship with someone who’s 5’5”. I’d be too self conscious. But she’s like, 4 inches shorter than you. What is she picky for.. hmm.

Each to their own, I guess.

Doesn’t seem like she’s worth it then, so try hard and move on. Ik it’s hard but if she does care that much about height, she really ain’t worth it...

A female friends friend once said this about a guy she went on a date with.

Apparently she found him really attractive, but because he was so short ...she decided not to pursue things and arrange a second date

I saw a study from 1988 and 92% of married couples the male was taller than the female.
I know it's 2017 now, but I doubt things have changed that much........

If you are short you just have to accept that will get rejected for your height at times, and will need to ask out more women before finding one.......

Oh well, that's her choice if she wants to use a stepladder to kiss her future bf. Height is a big thing for some people, just move on..
