I go to an academy school which according to paragraph 3 of https://www.gov.uk/national-curriculum does not have to follow the national curriculum. I'm not unhealthy, I exercise at home in case you were wondering. I don't like playing sports though and when I think about it I start to shake/tremble and I get cold, I have trouble breathing, I have trouble sleeping, and I have a sort of feeling of dread. I think it's an anxiety disorder but I don't like to see my GP. I'm wondering, seeings as the school doesn't have to follow the National Curriculum, and because of my symptoms if I talked to some senior staff with my parents backing me up do you think I'd be able to sit on the side and read a book? I don't mind being there it's just participating makes me feel ill. Please don't criticise me because I don't feel like I can do it, if I could I would.

    Thanks for your help
