Gove - UK will support Europe-wide ban on bee-killing pesticides watch

    • Thread Starter

I didn't think I would find myself saying this any time soon, but good on you, Michael Gove! :clap2:

Neonicotinoids are a real and proven threat to the long-term survival of our species - humanity - because they kill the pollinating insects. This is now accepted by everyone except (you've guessed it) the manufacturers.

So glad this ban will now solidly take effect. A chance for the bees. :bee:

Attention now needs to turn to the whole system of massive scale intensive industrial agriculture and the degrading effect it has on our wildlife and natural environment. We can't afford it.
