I'm looking for some advices. I'm at my bachelor year (medieval history). And I don't know what to do next. All I know is that I definitely don't wanna do anything with history anymore. I'm crazy about movies, so I was thinking about film studies next year, I wanna write about movies, be a critic. Buuut many people keep telling me that it's no use of these kind of studies if I want to be a critic. so I honestly don't know what to do. maybe someone of you are studying film? what's your thoughts?

Why did you pick to study medieval history? To be a critic, you don't need to study film, but you need to have a knowledge of movies (from watching them, not writing essays or exams on them) and to be able to write well and in an engaging manner. If this is something that you want to do, perhaps you could see if there is a role in your student newspaper or you could start your own blog to gain experience and to boost your portfolio.

I always liked history, that's why I decided to study it. But while being at uni, I just realized this is not for me, I don't like modules I have at all...programme that uni offers has many many issues...
