# c1 watch

1. how should i do root 41 + root 29 divde root 41 - root 29
rationalising? in a c1 exam without a calculator

i know its to x top and bottom by root 41 + root 29 but im just a little confused because the number is big

70 + 2 root 1189 over 12

I dont use grid method, but if that works for you to get to the answer then go for it

Is this your first year doing C1? I'm just wondering because C1 has now been replaced with the new spec.

Why do you need to work it out? Don't the terms cancel ..
only for denominator
