I had a colleague once who owned a lot of them and would even go to the conventions. It kinda made me want to start collecting dolls and dollhouses for some reason

Nope. But I wish I did! I don't have the money, unfortunately.

I binge-watched Michael Portillo's Great American Railroad Journeys this year and it was fantastic!

Hi, I am glad to hear someone that also has an interest in model trains.

I do not own model trains yet, but I am saving up so I can create my own railway model in my attic.

I have always dreamt of it, and I will do it!

    What sort of railway, robot?

    As in, modern or old?

I have had a few railways which were all based on the olden days but am very into modern

Haha maybe you should get a Barbie collection (not quite as good as trains though 😉)

I am more into the old steam engines, with old style looking buildings and railway station. However, I might build both at the same time. I have not decided yet.
But, yeah, to answer your question I prefer the old style.

    Don't be

It's a good interest to have - and likely to be a good investment.

Eh, I'm not really after using them as an investment, they would probably go down in value over time

I am sort of considering selling them though
