Im in year 10 and recently recieved my year 10 mock grades:
    -History:9
    -geography:7
    -citizenship:8
    -maths:5
    -English:6
    -science:7
    -French:6
    -RS:8
    -Art:8
My results arn't bad, however, i got 5,6 and 7 in maths, english and science ( they are meant to be my best subjects). This is kind of depressing as i got a 9 in history and 8s in art, RS and citizenship, I don't even like those subjects. How do i get my grades up to mostly if not all 8 and 9s. THANK YOU

I think you did extremely well considering you're in year 10 and have achieved grades which are over a 'good pass'. Keep up the good work ethic!

    Hey there,

Create a schedule of time slots where you'll do revising for the subjects you wish to improve, then be self-disciplined in working towards them. Breaking things down will make this really simple, really target the subjects you wish to improve. If there are subjects you're fairly confident with, dedicate some study time to them but not as much as the others. Focus on 1-2 subjects at a time and it'll be easier for you to improve on selected subjects.

    Hope this helps.

Well done for them grades- some of them look mighty impressive!
For the ones you're not happy about, get your paper back and highlight what you got wrong and focus on those weak areas
EG: in my recent physics paper on electricity, I didn't do as well as I thought- i realised that my nemesis was the whole equations and mathematical part so I focused on that so I won't make the same mistakes in my Mocks.

But remember, you're in Year 10 so you still have a long way to go, don't load yourself and stress out just yet- instead just concentrate on consolidating your knowledge and grasping new concepts- then when its year 11 and mocks and gcses, you just have to practice and apply what you've learnt.

    Hope this helps
