A mock interview for... what type? Uni interview? Internship? Have you been given a type of interview? E.g. Technical.

I’m doing my GCSEs at the moment and it’s just a general mock interview with people that are working basically. Before, I said I wanted to do something with science so I got given a Dr (idk if that’s a gp doctor or a PhD doctor...) but I recently changed to psychology, but that would be science too anyway...

I see... I'm afraid it would only be guesswork from me, as what you've been given is quite vague - if I were given a mock interview, I would ask about what specifically it was for.

If you don't get the chance to ask, my guess would be that it's about why you're interesting in psychology. So have stuff to talk about on that, e.g. Start with your favourite area(s) of the subject then mention any relevant books you've read or videos online you've seen, what you've learnt and say that you were interested in it. Look up one or two news stories about psychology or psychologists (pick something interesting, so that you can say it with confidence and.. interest e.g. Some cool behavioural trial or something to do with the brain.. is that Psychology or more neurology?) and be prepared to talk about those. And although it's unlikely to have as a gcse student, if you have any relevant work experience then talk about that too.
