I was wondering if anyone could help me. I was offered a job at sainsburys last year in the cafe. I went to the induction and first shift and my timetable changed at uni so I decided not to go back to the job as the hours didn't suit. As I did not phone to tell them they wrote me a letter saying I had been sacked.

Recently I applied for sainsburys (at a different store) got the interview and got the job. I have the induction soon where I've to give my bank details national insurance number etc, will they know once they've received that information I was sacked previously ?

I don’t think they would. A lot of people I know have been sacked from their job and they have a new one right now
