I am currently studying Law at the University of Birmingham and am looking to take a year abroad.

Although I have done a great deal of research on the matter, I’d be interested to hear peoole’s opinions on whether Lund or Zurich would be a better place to study for a law student?

Do you speak Swiss German? If not, I imagine Zurich could be a bit isolating - whereas pretty much everyone in Lund speaks English. What are your priorities? Travel? Weather? Location? Culture? Night life? Interesting law courses? Zurich is very well located in terms of continental travel opportunities (direct trains to Rome, Vienna, Paris, Munich, Berlin etc), whereas Lund is a good base for exploring Northern Europe (very close to Copenhagen, and Stockholm, Oslo and Hamburg are all within easy reach too).
