Hi, I'm applying for this course at UWS and Caledonian. I'm a mature student at the grand old age of 34, finished my HNC in counselling this year but have had to out off applying til the 2018 intake. When I enquired about entry requirements with UWS nat 5 maths or equivalent was mentioned but it so said a maths test may be provided for applicants who do meet the maths qualifications. I emailed again and asked for clarification, as in if you do not have nat 5, will your application still be considered etc but their reply was just, "it would be best to update your qualifications to strengthen your application" I think I'm two months too late to enrol with colleges so unsure of my options. Anyone have any experience or info regarding lack of maths qualifications? I'm OK with maths btw, just don't have it on paper!

How did you get on with your application? I’m in the same boat doing a Hnc and want to do mental health nursing? Did they offer a maths test?
