basically i just sold a book on ebay and posted it today, just checked back on ebay and found a completely different address listed under the buyer's name to what i had written on the parcel. now when i wrote the address down i got the address from the info that was given to me immediately after i had accepted the buyer's offer. since i had trouble with previous sales with the ebay posting labels service i copied the address down by and myself. now the address is different but the parcel has been sent and will probably arrive at the wrong address. I have never had any problems like this before, and i'm not sure what i should do?

Post it n the ebay forums as they are more knowledgeable on the specific rules. I would ahve sent it ti the address that ebay told me to send it to in their information.

Does the buyer have a good rep?
Have you confirmed it with them?
Did you get proof of posting?

You could find out now if its the correct address? Could one be a uni address and another their home address?

I would contact the person you've sold it to, explain that you sent it to that address and ask if that's correct? They may say that that is fine but if it isn't, they know that you have sent it but there's an issue, so they won't give you bad feedback for something out of your control. They may have moved house?
