    Hello all.
I am getting increasingly worried about my studying. I keep saying to myself that I will do things but as I use my computer for past paper and online resources, I often get distracted. I have had a few personal issues in my life recently, however my prelims are in 2 months and I feel that time is running out for me to do well.
I generally work well in school, but never at home. Last year was the same, but I managed to do well in the end.
Does anyone have any tips for me?
    Thanks.

See if you can stay longer at school. Few hours a day after school

Turn off the internet for your pc a the router or remove the pc and all other access means from your room.

Go and work in the library.

Think about failing if you dont knuckle down.

    Hi!

I entirely understand what you're getting at; I don't concentrate at home either, and when I'm doing coursework online I get distracted, too! (i've been on TSR for the past hour instead of cracking on but)

For the location thing, try mixing it up. If you can get into the routine of staying in school/college until a set time each day (perhaps 4:30 or 5pm), you can sometimes coerce yourself into a routine of getting work done at the same time every afternoon. On weekends and things, cafes or local libraries can be great, too.

As for the concentrating when you're working, perhaps try gathering your resources beforehand and then using an app (theres a whole bunch on google) that blocks unnecessary websites?

I'll update if I come up with anything else. Good luck!

Maybe print out the papers instead of doing them on your computer. That way you can just have the paper with your computer elsewhere so you can't get distracted.
