    Hi,
I have an interview at UEA in a couple of weeks for occupational therapy and I was wondering what sort of questions they may ask and what are the success rates of getting accepted?
    Thanks

Hey, I also have a interview with them soon. I think it’s best to just revise everything here are some questions I’ve revised for : Give an example of a time when you had to work as a member of a team and how did you fulfill the role? What skills do you have to become an OT? Why do you want to study at this uni? How do you work well in a team? How do you cope with challenging behaviour? What are the NHS values? What relevant work experience do you have? How will you manage the workload? What communication skills do you have? What are current issues surrounding OT? (Read some articles) What principles of ethics do OT need? What are your weaknesses/strengths? How would you connect with a service user?

I think they will ask questions like that to see if you have a general understanding of the career and then questions about yourself to see if you have the personality to become an OT. Also they may give you scenarios such as what would you do if a service users relative was making a scene? Or what would you do if a service user was being verbally abusive to the other service users?

They will probably ask you atleast one scenario so they can test how well you would react to a situation.

    Hope this helped, good luck!✨
