I'm glad to see the positive spin on this. I used to use it to procrastinate SO much during A levels and uni  How do you usually use it to procrastinate/which forums? I used to use forum games loads for it

Haha awww! What are you applying for and when do you hope to submit it? I hope TSR has helped in some productive way
I'm applying for English Literature at UCL, King's College London and Queen Mary. I've actually got a draft down (I shocked even myself) and now I'm chasing up my referee to help me bring it down to the character limit! (I know loads of people have already submitted it so I'm kind of wetting myself...)

In the meantime I always have TSR to fall back on for light entertainment, and threads like writing the 8th Harry Potter book, sentence by sentence... you know, helping me to urm develop those vital English skills!

Ooh brilliant That's great you've got the draft done, that's the hardest bit, at least now it's editing. The deadline is Jan, right? Plenty of time :yep:

Haha oh yeah I need to add some lines into it and be a co-author! haha yes, I'm a speech and language therapist, so it helps me with the language part too :giggle:

I think helping me get through my GCSEs. I met people who were working at my level or higher and talking to them made me feel like I was talking to someone irl because frankly, most people at my old school were arses and judged me for acting too smart which isn't really my fault.

A lot of us have been on TSR for a long time and use it frequently. Whether it's help with a subject or friends you've made, or even a great way to procrastinate... what do you have TSR to thank for?

I have TSR to thank for a lot of things, from help during A levels, applying to and through University, to support with mental health, to making brilliant friends and meeting my amazing partner over 3 years ago
