For modern languages, you really need to understand the grammar for writing and oral tasks, and the vocabulary for the reading and listening tasks. If you have end of year exams or big tests, you really need to just learn and churn all that vocab–flash cards can really help for this. Practise writing and speaking in Spanish when you can do that you are applying the grammar you have learnt; maybe your teacher could mark the writing if they have time!

For history, I don’t know what sort of exams or tests you are getting but for my GCSEs time was really tight, so practice questions simply to practise speed were super important. If you have “facts tests” you can use flash cards to memorise dates and key information as well. Also summarising the textbook and classwork notes is great! History is all about learning and churning (with limited time!). I don’t know if you have source questions but if you do it’s always worth finding some to practise as well!

Hope this helps and good luck!
