Does anyone know of any companies that do internships for first year university students studying Mathematics and statistics looking to go into investment banking? What is this career field like? I hear it is very competitive and difficult to get into. Does anyone have any advice about how to get a foot in the door? Thanks

This is best placed in the investment banking section, a lot of investment banks offer spring weeks to first years.

Have good extra curriculars, perform well at the tests they do, go to a target uni etc will improve your chances
Do you think parents should charge rent?
