Do law firms place more emphasis on Alevels, level achieved in law degree, work experience etc over GCSEs that might not be exceptional?

My GCSEs were average A* to C (majority of Bs) however I'm on track for 3 A* at Alevel will magic circle firms not accept me due to my GCSEs?
    Thanks

Degree class. In some cases Uni. A levels. GCSE will be much further down the list if it figures at all. 3 A* and good degree will make GCSE more or less irrelevant. Experience ranks highly as well.

    You’ll be fine.

They might be more concerned in Maths and/or English are the C grades, but even then if you have three A*s they will probably look past the GCSE grades, especially if you go in to do well in your degree
