    Hello, hope you're okay

I was just wondering on which Univeristy is better in terms of teaching and the social life there.
Also, I'm planning to do an ICT course (Information Communciation Technology) but don't know which university to go for.
Have you studied this course? How is it like?
Have you even been to this university? Is it any good?

I'm also bad at programming hence why I didn't choose Computer Science, I want to step away from programming.

    Thank you

Hey 3rd year student at Huddersfield. lovely university, the campus itself is literally right next to the town centre, cross the road and round the corner and it's there. in terms of social life there's plenty of great bars to choose from the two main clubs are camel and Tokyo. For living, storthes hall is a big student village basically with a venue shop etc. it is good for socialising as they have a lot of events that go on there and obviously there's loads of students living there. however I will say that storthes hall isn't on campus you have to get a bus (bus pass is about 20 quid for the year) so you don't have to pay every time you get on and the bus stops right on the uni campus. so if you don't mind getting the bus, then it's good. that's just what I didn't like. I lived there in my first year.
But there is other accommodation, snow Island, saw mill, aspley, little aspley, castings. I think there's a few more but can't remember exactly what they're called. But all within 5 min walking distance from uni (I live in snow Island and literally takes me 2 mins to get to my building)
also other events they have. freshers they have HudCrawl you choose a specific colour t-shirt and go round to the diff bars and end up in either camel or Tokyo. there's also hud live, this takes place at storthes hall they have a big stage with some really good acts and there's a bar and then lots of food and drink stations. they had dominoes this year. there's also hud comedy, which is at the Lawrence batley theatre round the corner from uni. they have quite a few acts. I went last year and they had Russel Kane. in terms of teaching it's brill aswell I'm sure the uni got an award for it. can't think of much else for now, it's a great uni tho. let me know if you have any other questions
