Cold beans / chicken ontop of hot rice?

Hi, bit paranoid about food poisoning etc.

They say rice can give food poisoning.

If I cooked some rice, put it on a plate and place cold chicken and mixed beans ontop is this safe to consume?

Yes you'll be fine. If you die you won't know anyway.

I can't see it being very nice, but if you eat it straight away it would be fine.

Maybe warm up the chicken first????
not the chicken
If the chicken has been cooked properly, cooled down and kept in the fridge (in other words not left out at room temp for more than 2 hours) then the chicken is safe.

As the rice has just been cooked that is safe too. The danger with rice comes when you leave it out at room temperature after cooking it. The absolute limit is two hours and reheating it won't make it safe once exposed to room temperature for longer than that.

If you've done all of that it will be fine.
