my english literature exam is on january 8th 2018 and i was wondering when i should start revising for it? i don’t want to start revising too early for it as i worry i may burn out. english literature is the only exam i am doing in january and i have already done the poetry component as coursework. thank-you.

Your exam is in less than 2 months and you haven't started revising?

honey, you have two months- now would be a good time to start revising. make notes, improve them and highlight key quotes.

It's probably advisable to start now. If you burn out in 2 months then I think something might be wrong with how you study.

I literally spent 2 weeks ? From 6 pm till 9 pm every couple days . I was naturally smart at English . If you’re struggling then do your revision non stop now ?

For me, that's just cutting it too fine. I like to revise 4-5 months before an exam, especially for something as big as English.

I get stressed if I feel like I have a lot to do in not much time. So I like to plan out my time and pace myself, spend my time revising thoroughly as opposed to cramming in the last few weeks. I feel it is much more effective.
