In History there is ALOT to learn! But there's also alot to learn in geography lol. Wait till your end of year exams and compare your grades. Also make sure you dont choose a subject because of the teacher because you may regret it in the future.

My friends took history and they did say it was a late work load, there's a lot about the world wars. I took geography and the work load was still big but maybe less essays. See how you grade at the end of this year and go from there! Don't do it for just a teacher

I did both, if you like them both then you should do that, but make sure you choose on how much you like the subject and your ability not because you like the teacher, since the teacher can always change.

I took both but much prefer geography, they have equal work loads however I’m finding that geography is more enjoyable.

It depends. Some say geography is more sciencey and mathsy. History is more Englishy.

I hated geography and love history. But I enjoy maths and don’t particularly love English. So, personal preference.

    I’d recommend History. ☺️

History is harder, but much more interesting and enjoyable IMO.

history has a lot more essays (the biggest one is 20 marks, but the biggest one in geography is 9 marks)
history is hard because there is a lot of content to learn, but you also have to be skilled at essay writing. i don't know much about geography but i'd imagine it's similar

Geography is easier than History. If you don't love History you won't have a motivation to revise (there is a LOT of content) and you won't do as well. The Geography exam is easier, as in a History exam you will end up writing about 20 sides of A4 paper. History will look better on your personal statement, it is much more highly thought of.
