    I just want to get rid of my anxiety, it stops me from doing so much and I can’t concentrate at school. Does anybody have any tips on how to reduce it or how I can overcome it. I’m gonna post this anonymously but I appreciate any responses!!

    what are you anxious about? i find my anxiety usually comes from over thinking things...so i try to distract myself by keeping busy! that way i don't have time to over think things...if that makes any sense idk! xD

    I agree with what the poster above said... Keeping busy would always help me, music, sport or even just having a conversation with someone about anything but anxiety would make me feel better. If you're looking for a herbal remedy try Kalms or a own brand version. If it gets too bad consider going to see your doctor and they'll probably put you on a CBT waiting list

    Work out where your anxiety is coming from and try to resolve it. It's different for each person, but seeing a counselor could help you to explore your own feelings. You can also find info and advice on mind.org and sane.org. ☺

    Yeah I definetly agree with what others say. For example music massively helps to calm me down. Try to find a hobby that yoc can take take up between your study sessions (it's important to take breaks!)
    If your anxiety gets too much Mabye try getting an appointment with a counselling.

    Write a list of activities that make you feel less anxious and every time you feel your anxiety coming on, do something on that list.
    Also everytime you feel anxious, write down events that happened before etc. to try and work out what causes you to become anxious.

    Overthinking causes most of my anxiety, and I have found talking to many people that it is similar to them. I try and write things down or tell people about the positive things that I have done or that have happened to me that day/week/month etc.

    Writing down your anxieties can also help you work through it because you are reading it back to yourself and are kind of getting a new perspective from it being written down.
