    Hi,
I want to study law at a top university like Cambridge or Durham and i need to pick my a level choices in three weeks. I'm going to do English lit, History and Maths. however for the third i don't know whether to do government and Politics or Religious Studies. i know politics is soft but it would help me develop my public speaking skills through debating...idk

You don't need 4 A levels... 3 is enough. If you want a 4th subject, all 3 are ok. What's more important is that you need to get high grades in those subjects

Assuming you're carrying on all to A2 you already have 3 A levels so the fourth one shouldn't really matter that much.
