"The nature of ..." sounds very vague to me. I'm writing a report on "the nature and use of private homes in Ancient Greece". I've written about the use of private homes quite explicitly, and threw in a concluding sentence mentioning its "nature". Is that okay? Or is "the nature of something" in need of explicit explanation?
