It is extremely frustrating when you got an Email saying that you have fail mark of 49, my heart was going to explode Very bad feeling. However, i wasn't expecting this result for one reason my DA give feedback for my draft as "MSc worthy and it is good" So, i might expect getting 60 or 58 but not 49!.

So, my question do i have the right to appeal the results on the ground of my DA was always giving me advises on the design of the document but never commented on the contents, and as mentioned up after submitting the draft version (Whihc was 80% completed) he mentioned clearly he has no comment and it is MSc worthy paper. His comments make me feel comfortable about my paper. Anyone has before such bad expereince (I hope not).

Go and talk to a student advisor in the SU who will know the rules better. You have nothing to lose. You have the issue that they are normally blind marked by two people.

Depending on whether you have completed postgrad or not then the procedures i believe are here. Understand the rules before you put in the appeal. Its a bit too involved for me to go through the procedure and you are better off speaking to an advisor in real life.
