Electricity during Holidays?! (Renting private accommodation) Watch

    Xmas holidays are approaching so I get to go home but.... how do i power down my flat so that my electricity bill will be ZERO during December - January.
    - Is there a way to make sure that no electricity will be consumed?

    You could literally turn off all the mains power but you have to pay standing charges even if you use nothing.

    Thanks for the quick reply: I pay electricity via: pay as you go, so will it be different ?
