So I want to withdraw and I know I'll have to pay back overpayments.

I am going to re-apply for a new course starting in September and will be re-applying for finance again.

Can they take the overpayments away from the finance I'll get on the new course in September as opposed to me paying it now?

That is a possibility yes, but they will ask why you can't make any payments at the moment.

    Hi amingo26,

If you have a loan overpayment and don't have an arrangement in place to repay this then the outstanding balance for the loan overpayment will be deducted from your entitlement from your new course.

If you have an arrangement in place and are current repaying your overpayment then your entitlement for the new course would not be affected.

    Regards,

    Stuart
