    I’ve recently started on my birth control pills and I know it takes 7 full days for it to work but will I be protected if I had sex on the 8th day???

    Didn't your Doctor tell you?
    At any rate possibly, it's impossible to say with 100pc certainty so you might wish to er on the side of caution.

    If you take the pills properly, as in taking it everyday at the same time and never missing one, then you should be protected. However, bỉrth control pills do not protect you against STDS and no contraceptive is 100 percent effective. So you should also use a condom to protect you against STDS and also as additional contraception.

    Yeah you should be protected. But it isn't 100% effective.
