I usually made notes every time I revise, but I feel like it's too time consuming and I'm writing for the sake of it. Nothing really goes in my head as I write these notes, but as told, it helps summarise key points and it's important when organising what I have learnt.

Is it okay to type it up or will I not retain anything?

sure, i think ppl write notes up because you literally copy the same kinda thing in an exam, you writing your answers just like how you wrote your notes, but whatever works for you man

I know loads of people who type notes, I don't think it makes much difference in how much you retain information.
Typed notes can be so much more neat than written notes, which being a neat-freak, I find so much more helpful when reading through

Yeah it's fine. I did that for my A-Levels and came out with A*AB.
