Really its mainly the fact Nottingham has the CEDEX research arm. Alot of Unis dont have that depth of research in economics. And i thought we were discussing Exeter vs. Nottingham? besides schools specialize. Just because St.Andrews and UCL are master in Management doesnt mean they are superior in Economics. Two different subjects. Surely i am biased. But it is ranked 4th in good sunday times. amd 7th in the complete university guide. League tables generally rank notts in the top 20, but economics is something it has chosen to specialize in. All im trying to make you guys aware of
How does CEDEX directly impact undergrad teaching? And Exeter also does a fair bit of economics research too...
