I'm in the process of applying to universities and have made a short list of all the universities I wish to apply to. I'm hoping to study a foundation year in science to lead onto a course in optometry or othopics. I've researched Sheffield Univeristy's Orthopics course and have been interested. In their entry requirements under the heading 'alternative requirements' they state they accept Foundation Year courses: 70% overall from acceptable courses in Science with no less than 60% in all modules. Which foundation year courses do they accept and from which universities?
    Thank you
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
