    so i applied for loughborough , east Anglia, Leicester and none of them are seemingly accredited for my international relations course, these are prestigious universities so i would think they are accredited but are not, are they and if not how important is it that they are?

    Industry accreditation is available in some subjects where the industry body has a scheme to approve the content of a course.

    For academic courses with no obvious career path after graduation there’s no industry body to offer accreditation.
