So, I live in a student house with 3 other students. We all share internet which is situated in the lounge.

The problem is that every other weekend, the internet completely drops for 3 off us to the point where we have no internet for 2 days or more. But the third person never has an issue with internet despite the fact that all of our devices are apple and this person is the furthest away from the lounge. We've all also noticed that when this person leaves the house, the rest of us have better internet.

Anyone have any similar situations and know what the cause may be? Could it be that this person is excessively downloading/using more MBs than the rest of us?

    1. Restart the router
    2. Make sure no-one is torrenting from public trackers during your 'peak' hours
    3. Use the 2.4ghz network instead of 5ghz
    4. Change the wifi channels
