Hi, is anyone looking to apply to Adult Nursing at Plymouth uni for September 2018? I’ve just been offered a place which I’m so excited about but also a little nervous as I’m a mature student and this is a career change for me!!!! 😊

Hi, I think it was only about 10 ish questions and they were quite easy and I’m not great at maths!!!! There was at least one question for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and then I think something on percentages and conversions??? Lots of luck for your interview 😊

Only took a couple of weeks, I think it would have been sooner but there was some confusion over which references they needed! I was told they make decisions after each interview day?! And definitely no scary questions 😊

I’ve got an interview in 2 weeks for adult nursing. Even with a decade of HCA experience, I’m still worried about the interview day!

Hi, I was just wondering whether you could tell me what your group interview was like? Also, what type of questions they asked you? I have my interview for Plymouth on the 26th! Thanks

Hi I didn’t have a group interview, there were only 2 of us there for interviews that day!!!! So there were two short interviews with two different people and they just asked questions about why we wanted to do nursing, what qualities we had and I think they asked for examples of how we had demonstrated these?? These were only between 5-10 mins per interview, hope this helps 😊

Wow, only 2!? I applied 'late' (after the deadline), emailed Plymouth who told me they were still accepting applications and to get mine in as soon as possible.
I did, and got an invite to interview within a couple of days. They are working pretty fast, does make me wonder how many (or few) have applied for nursing this year. :-/

Thank you! When you said how you demonstrated the qualities did you say for example, "Nurses need to have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team. Within my part time job I work as part of a team and if we was not able to communicate effectively and work well together then it would result in an unsuccessful day" if not, could you give me an example? My mind is going blank and I'm stressing so bad... I also have my nursing interview for Bristol tomorrow, i'm so scared 😥

That’s exactly the kind of answers I gave and tried to link examples of a situation where such qualities were used. Good luck with your interviews 😊😊

Hi I can’t remember exactly the questions but it was mainly about my experiences and what qualities I felt I had. For the writing test we had to watch a video and then write about what we felt was good or bad about the situation we had just seen, good luck with your interview 🍀🍀🍀

I’m mature student (24) and I apply just for Plymouth so I really need to smash that interview.
I don’t like math, I’m bad at it so it’s giving me anxiety even just thinking about it. lol
